Awards Policy
NT members (both reserves and active) and guests who are given our official
awards can optionally show them by having an appropriately coloured star [asterisk]
or cross [plus sign] per award at the end of their in-game name.
(No spaces between the awards please.) For those with more than one award,
the more important awards must go to the left of the lesser awards
in order of significance.
Please note that asterisks or plus signs may not otherwise ever be used
in NT member's names, with the exception of a true red cross, +,
(not to be confused with the magenta coloured
one we call a red cross,) which some members use for religeous purposes.
Members using a true red cross should have it after their clan tags
(which always come first) and before their clan name.
A true red cross should not come after a member's name so that
it is not mistaken for an award.
Unless the award is automatic (such as a service award) then players may
not request the reward for themselves. To do so will disqualify them from
ever receiving the award in future.
Members may only wear the awards for the official honours list in which they
appear in these web pages, even if they believe they are entitled to
an award. Requests for automatic awards will only considered if they are posted
in the sticky in the General Chat forum (accessible by NT members only.) If
a member wears an NT award to which they are not officially honoured then that
member will automatically have all their awards withdrawn and will be barred
permanently from our awards program. If a guest wears an award they are not
entitled to because it matches an award character officially handed to them by
another recognized clan which they do not lead then this will be tollerated if
an adequate explanation and proof is presented.
Clan exception votes are not permitted for awards.

Disqualified Players
The decision of the Founders (majority vote required) in such
matters is final and there is no reinstatement option. Continued
failure to comply after being disqualified (such as continuing
to use awards to which one isn't entitled or to pester for
reinstatement) will eventually result in severer penalties such
as a suspension or ban on NT's servers or an exit vote for a member.
This program is designed to be both fair and fun and hopefully
no-one will go so far as to be so abusive of it that they bring
disgrace and dishonour to their name but we are prepared to enforce
our rules and policies to ensure that our awards have meaning.
The following players are barred from our awards program for
either pestering for a non-automatic award or for displaying an
NT award which has not officially been granted to them:
